For this class we will be making a tallow and goat milk based soap. You will receive a loaf that you can cut into 4-5 bars. You will need to come back on Tuesday 3/24 to cut and pick up at 5:30. The store closes at 7 for late pick ups. If you are doing a late pick up you will need to cut your soap loaf by knife at home.

Please bring a box to bring your soap home in!

Using library checkout cards and magazine cuttings, she's collaging one piece per book, and she needs your help! This is an opportunity to build our support system and hold space for one another as we navigate our unique life journeys as LGBTQIA+ individuals and the struggles associated. We welcome those that are questionings, multiple gender loving, asexual, or ANY label under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. We welcome anyone that is18+ and a part of our community living anywhere to join us!

This space will be hosted by To Write Love on Her Arms at the Moonstruck Market every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30PM-7PM. It will be provided at no cost to attendees for anybody 18+.

Teen Sex Ed Class

Join us for sex ed class, taught by a Health Department staff member. Kids 12+ will learn the birds and the bees in a safe, affirming environment where questions are encouraged! Sex ed helps kids to understand themselves and their bodies, the concept of consent, and what is and isn't healthy to experience. It also decreases instances of teen pregnancy!

If your kiddo has questions about the birds and the bees, or if you're looking for the right time to introduce them to the concept, this is a great class for you! Parents and guardians must accompany their kids. Ages 12+ are welcome!

The teachers of Adventure Chess will guide you through playing through the first 20 recorded moves of masters’ games. Then you’ll finish the game yourself from there using the principles you’ve learned! Through this method, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of why the masters made the moves they did, and how to emulate their techniques in your own games. WLW Speed Dating

WLW Speed Dating

WLW SPEED DATING IS HERE! On Saturday 3/7, join us PROMPTLY at 5pm (we recommend aiming to arrive a few minutes early) and get to know 15 other queer singles!

At WLW (women-loving women) speed dating, 16 queer women will spend 5 minutes getting to know each person. We'll have optional sample questions at each station to help kickstart the conversation, and you'll each move around the room according to your map. After each speed date, you can indicate on your sheet whether you'd like to exchange info with that person. At the very end of the event, you can turn in your sheet, and if there's a match--if you BOTH mark "yes" to exchanging info--we'll send you each other's phone number, and you're free to go from there.

Tickets are $15 and include a 7-8 pm afterparty where you can have refreshments, mingle as a group, and enjoy live music.

This event is open to queer women ages 21-45.

If you have a kiddo in your life who’s in need of a bookshelf refresh, this is the perfect time to grab some books! Usually our used kids books range from $2-6, but during our book fair, they’re ALL $1!

This will include *used* books for ages 0 to around 13! Picture books up through middle school books. Our new books are excluded. The kids you're buying for do not need to be with you in order to take part.
