Moonstruck Night Market
Moonstruck (Night) Market is a mini evening art fair during the last Saturday of the month featuring all manner of artists from stickers and prints to jewelry and accessories to baked goods and treats! Join us in the bookstore and browse the goods of up to 8 local makers plus 30 permanent displays of local artists, all while enjoying the evening atmosphere of an indie bookshop.

Black Box Blackout Gallery Night
Black Box Blackout is an organization that centers Black creativity during Black History Month and beyond! For the month of February, they are presenting an exhibition of art by Black artists within the bookstore.
On 2/1, join us for the gallery’s opening night from 5-8 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door, and all proceeds go to support Black Box Blackout and their incredible work.
The exhibition will continue through the end of February.
Galentine’s Drag Bingo
Join us on 2/15 at 3pm for our Galentine's celebration! Queen Dainty Taint will host several bingo games where the prizes are ROMANCE BOOKS! Space is limited, so book fast! This event is 18+.

$1 Kids’ Bookfair
If you have a kiddo in your life who’s in need of a bookshelf refresh, this is the perfect time to grab some books! Usually our used kids books range from $2-6, but during our book fair, they’re ALL $1!
This will include *used* books for ages 0 to around 13! Picture books up through middle school books. Our new books are excluded. The kids you're buying for do not need to be with you in order to take part.
The main section plus extra tables will be full o’ books for you to browse, so come on by after school on Friday, 1/30, from 4-7pm for our $1 bookfair!
Open Mic Night
Join us on the last Thursday of each month for an open mic night where poetry, music, comedy, and more are all welcome! If it can be performed on a mic in 5 minutes or less, it’s fair game! Sign ups will be in person.
This event is 16+. Performers, please plan your performances accordingly. Parents/guardians, please recognize and make your child aware that some material and themes may be fairly mature.
Writing Club
Join us every Wednesday at 5pm to write and discuss all things writing! Any skill level, amount of experience, and genre/type of writing are welcome. You don’t have to share your work if you aren’t comfortable, but you’re welcome to!

“Housewarming Parties” Poetry Collection Release
Join us in celebrating Jaci Schreckengost’s debut poetry collection “Housewarming Parties”, published by Moonstruck Market’s publishing arm Lunar Lit Press.
While the collection releases 1/27, you can join us on Sunday, 1/25 from 2-5pm for a release party! Enjoy a reading, Q&A, and signing where you can get your own signed copy of this warm, life-affirming poetry collection.
You can preorder copies to be shipped to you here. Copies will be available for purchase at the party, too.

Clay Play
Join us Sunday, January 18 at Moonstruck Market for Clay Play! This is your space to follow your own ideas and create something uniquely yours. I’ll begin by sharing the basics of hand-building, then I’ll be there to guide and support you as you bring your piece to life.
Everything you need is provided — clay, tools, and materials. I’ll take care of firing and glazing, and you’ll get to choose from a variety of glaze options for your finished piece.

Community members expressed to us that while there are multiple queer social groups focused on teens, there is a lack of community for 18+ young adults. If you’re 18 to around 35 years old (or older—we don’t have a cutoff!) come hang out with us in the bookstore! Chat, make friends, and wind down after work among likeminded individuals.

Book Bedazzling Workshop
Join us for that wildly viral activity you've probably seen: book bedazzling! Pick a book, add gemstones to the cover following the colors and pattern of the cover, and there you have it--a properly yassified piece of literature!
Your ticket includes your kit (which you can keep)! Bring a book from home or pick one out when you're at the bookstore.
